Course Description:

Direct seeder is a planting tool to support cropping systems that can be pulled by cattle, power tiller, or tractor. In this module you will learn about its advantages and disadvantages, main components and functions, operation, and maintenance.

Course objectives:

After completed this module, you will be able to:

• Explain advantages and disadvantages of direct seeder;

• Identify all parts of direct seeder;

• Operate the direct seeder in a safety way; and

• Maintain the direct seeder.
